Tesla Pre-Paid service contract

Tesla Pre-Paid service contract

I just received an email from Tesla about a promotion for the prepaid service contract. My question to Tesla or to anyone that know if it include a loaner Tesla while our Model s is in service?

Believe document I read states that if service is projected to take longer than four hours a loaner is provided.

Yep - but the don't say that the loaner car will be a Tesla.

Correct, loaner if more than four hours. Chances are it will be some sort of Enterprise bad-mobile (that's what they are using at service centers that I've seen so far anyway.)

Just got this email from Tesla

Hi Vince,

A loaner vehicle will be provided to you if your scheduled maintenance is being performed at a Tesla Authorized Service Center and Tesla estimates that it will take over four hours to complete.

A loaner vehicle will not be provided for Tesla Ranger service.

Thank you!

Yup, the policy is here, btw; https://www.teslamotors.com/sites/default/files/blog_attachments/na_tesl...

and it has all of those details in there.

Which would appear to mean if I have ranger service and they find a problem and need to bring it back to the service center for two days, I'm either finding my own rental or will be sitting at home.

@robert22
I would think if you have to take it to the service center for two days, you would get a rental. I interpret the terms to mean that a ranger is not going to come out and give you a rental, regardless of time it takes.
