Tesla has left the building..

Well, maybe it's not that dramatic. But their first line of defense is off for the holidays. After I received their reply regarding the confusing wording on the Performance version of the vehicle, I replied indicating that I felt it would be in their best interest to correct the wording as quickly as possible. This is the reply I received:

"Thank you for contacting Tesla Motors. Our office will be closed December 23rd through December 26th. We look forward to speaking with you on Tuesday, December 27th.

If you have a service concern, please contact your regional Service Team at 877-79-TESLA #9"

Merry Christmas, Tesla. We look forward to your replies on the 27th.

Brian - Do they actually read this stuff?

Maybe. Sometimes I'm an optimist.

Seriously, folks, nothing we're discussing is urgent. Important, sometimes, but not urgent.

Happy holidays to one and all, especially the good folks at Tesla working hard to make a car we'll be proud to own.

I certainly agree. I'm sure Tesla already knows that their wording regarding the pricing of the Performance model is confusing. However, do we really need them to forgo their holiday vacation to to acknowledge it to you before December 27th? Maybe its time to stop aggravating yourself with these types of postings and start enjoying the holidays.

Seasons greetings.

Larry

I agree as far as we are concerned, as quasi existing customers and quasi Tesla insiders.

I disagree with regard to the press and future customers, and perception in the often-cited "general public". If even we are irritated by the information that Tesla revealed on Dec 21, that irritation translates into misleading or even false information that manifests itself if not timely objected. That consideration prompted me to write the "spread fire" post:

OTOH Volker, as this time I'm not sure the general public is paying much attention. At least, until Tesla Motors has had a chance to make all options, pricing, etc. a little clearer to all concerned.
