Greg just completed my grey P85 with opticoat pro. Looks better than it did upon delivery 5mos ago. Stays clean much longer. Rain and dirt slide right off. The treatment of the windshield is also amazing. Rain sheds off making windshield wipers unnecessary while traveling on the hwy. This is a great product and Greg does an amazing job. Thanks.

Just curious what it cost to opti coat a Model S?

Reflectionsdetailing | October 24, 2013

GDH:

It costs about 425$ just for the coating. Polishing would be an additional cost. There is a set min price for the coating nation wide.

great! I am still looking for an optic oat reference in Denver area.

I had Opti Coat Pro applied by an authorized detailer recently. He used an air brush to apply the coating on the paint but it seems like some of it got on the windshield. He also applied Opti Glass twice on the windshield because the wipers were grabbing & squeaking in the rain. Now he has advised me to rub isopropyl alcohol on the windshield and then have a local detailer buff the windshield with liquid wax because he is very far away. Will this remove the overspray from the windshield? I also had new wipers put on the car. It is supposed to rain next week. Any advise will be appreciated.

Sorry, but this sentence made me giggle (with hysteria): "It is supposed to rain next week."

Come to Belgium one of these days :-D

I am glad you find it funny but California is in the midst of the worst drought in history. So it is not funny for us.

@slipdrive: Have you tried Steven Olech of Colorado Detail? He applies opti coat and is in southeast Denver. I have heard good things about his work. He is working on my model S this weekend.
