I sent a letter to someone pretty high up in the administration who knows me personally.
When I inquired about the franchise protection bill that had been introduced in the Assembly he said, "Since the bill had not progressed very far it had not yet warranted a review by the executive branch."
Also, the governor's office, to his knowledge, had not been lobbied by any supporters of the bill.
He also said, "As you may know, Governor Cuomo is pushing policies to support EV deployment as part of his Charge NY initiative. I assume this bill would have been reviewed and assessed with those policies in mind."
All in all I got the impression that the bill hadn't made a ripple.
